What kind of saxophone should i play?

I hear the alto is easiest. The sopranos tend to be pitchy and the tenors take more of an effort to get the sound out. I've been teaching myself on alto for a year now and it's going quite well. There are fingering charts on the net and lots of videos on Youtube and expert village to inspire you and help you out. Good luck.
