Why do I like animals more than people?

I don't like people (self-diagnosed mix of anxiety, paranoia, and cynicism), but I love animals. I could spend all my time with animals, especially dogs. I love dogs. Especially my dog, I love her so much. She's really the only one in the world that I can say I truly love. I's rather talk to animals than other people, and I'd rather be around animals than people.
