Silly question about me and my baby and a basement?

my eleven month old and i hung out in a basement made in 1949 for about 2 hrs when i was moving things around...i can feel in my lungs if that makes sense...dust or idk? its getting better though now that we are upstairs...is it okay that the baby was down there so long? and what if the walls have paint that has lead in it...i know...silly paranoia
